Logistics Administrator

About the role

The Logistics Administrator will support the South Africa hub logistics team, ensuring that every shipment is accurately recorded in the ERP/SAP system and that all documentation complies with South African Revenue Service (SARS) requirements. This role provides the data and paperwork needed for smooth movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the logistics team, Logistics Controller and Manager.
• Enter and maintain shipment records in the ERP/SAP system, verifying accuracy before processing.
• Prepare and file routine logistics paperwork such as delivery notes, packing lists and transport instructions.
• Ensure import and export documentation meets SARS customs requirements.
• Maintain audit‑ready logistics records, including customs declarations and proof‑of‑delivery.
• Assist Logistics Coordinators with data entry, tracking updates and chasing outstanding documents.
• Compile and verify supporting documents for customs broker submissions.
• Support invoice matching, goods‑receipt queries and financial reconciliation.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping or administrative support.
• Working knowledge of SARS customs and import/export documentation requirements.
• Experience with ERP data capture; SAP MM or other logistics modules is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
