Local Solution Architect / Architecture Liaison

About the role

The Local Solution Architect / Architecture Liaison ensures that enterprise solutions delivered offshore comply with South Africa’s regulatory, hosting, identity and security requirements. You will act as the bridge between offshore build teams and local stakeholders, overseeing architecture alignment, governance and integration for public‑sector platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Represent local architecture discussions and ensure compliance with Treasury and government standards.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture principles and Microsoft ecosystem standards.
• Validate identity, access management and security frameworks (Microsoft Entra/AD).
• Drive Azure/hybrid hosting discussions to meet local government expectations.
• Oversee API‑first design and integration with procurement platforms, housing enrolment portals, and material testing systems.
• Liaise with government architecture review boards for approvals and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison between offshore build teams and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• 12+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven experience with public‑sector compliance and regulatory oversight, especially in construction or housing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem and government architecture review processes.
