Lending Sales Lead – South Africa

About the role

SAP Fioneer, which spun out of SAP to focus on agility, innovation and delivery, is building software and platforms that bring financial services to the next level. Its Lending team is growing and is looking for a Lending Sales Lead to shape the Lending Go-To-Market strategy in South Africa and the African market. As a trusted advisor, you will bridge business and technology, helping customers optimise their processes and turn requirements into scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Go-To-Market strategy for the Lending division across South Africa and the African market
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with banking customers and industry partners
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the lending portfolio
• Understand the needs of potential and existing customers and support them through their transformation
• Respond to customer requests, including pre-RfI, RfI and RfP
• Prepare demo cases and demos of the solutions
• Lead sales engagements such as presentations, workshops and executive briefings
• Work with international cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration and high client satisfaction

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, lending solutions or similar enterprise platforms
• Proven track record in enterprise sales, strategic account management or solution consulting within banking
• Strong understanding of financial services processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
