About the role

We are partnering with a Johannesburg‑based JSE listed company to find a qualified Legal Advisor who will also fulfil Company Secretary responsibilities. The role is situated in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg and offers a competitive remuneration package.

Key responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of legal documents.
Manage all compliance activities related to company secretarial duties, including CIPC filings, board resolutions and board meeting administration.
Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution to renewal or termination.
Provide regulatory and compliance oversight across the organisation.

Required profile

LLB degree and admission as an attorney.
3–5 years of post‑articles experience.
Proven experience handling company secretarial functions.
Commercial legal experience within a corporate environment.
