Learning Experience Designer

About the role

Trainiac is looking for a Learning Experience Designer who can turn complex concepts into clear, actionable learning experiences that drive real behaviour change. The role combines creative design, strategic thinking, and project management to deliver customized learning solutions for adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage tailored learning programmes (digital, face‑to‑face and blended) that go beyond information transfer to influence behaviour.
• Analyse client needs to identify knowledge, skill and mindset gaps that hinder performance.
• Lead projects from brief through delivery, balancing budget, timeline and quality across multiple engagements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem‑solving.
• Guide and mentor project team members, supporting their delivery and professional growth.
• Stay up‑to‑date with L&D trends and apply high‑impact ideas to each project.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content design, speed production and improve learning quality.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in learning and development, instructional design or a related field.
• Curiosity about adult learning and a passion for understanding why behaviour changes.
• Self‑driven, comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail while keeping the broader strategic vision in mind.

Required skills

• Proficiency with authoring and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams.
• Comfortable using AI platforms as practical enablers in the design process.
