About the role
OVK Retail is offering a 2027 Learner Programme that combines retail and agriculture exposure for recent matriculants. The successful candidate will work alongside our retail team, gaining practical experience and business insight while developing skills in customer service and marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Gain practical exposure in the retail business, including day‑to‑day operations.
- Collaborate with the retail team to learn new skills and acquire business insight.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification (subjects such as mathematics, accounting, agriculture or business are advantageous).
- Interest in a career in commerce and agriculture, as well as customer service and marketing.
- Submission of a copy of the latest school report with the application.
Required skills
- Good communication and language skills in both Afrikaans and English.
- Computer literacy, particularly proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong numerical ability and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills.
