Lead Developer (APIs)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to own the design and delivery of secure, scalable API and Identity Management solutions. You will work within a high‑performing engineering team, shaping architecture and driving best‑practice development across strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Design and implement scalable Identity Management and RESTful API solutions.
• Lead delivery of strategic projects, ensuring quality, performance and timeline adherence.
• Define technical architecture and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems while promoting continuous improvement.
• Ensure coding standards, testing practices and documentation are followed.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of software development experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑grade, scalable systems.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core
• SQL Server and advanced SQL (stored procedures, queries, views)
• Design and development of high‑performance RESTful APIs
• Identity Management solutions
• Entity Framework (EF6/EF Core)
• Microservices or service‑oriented architectures
• Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB (advantageous)
• API tools such as Postman and Swagger
• Messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and SignalR
• Clean coding principles (SOLID, TDD, DDD)
