Ladieswear Production Manager and Merchandiser

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Ladieswear Production Manager and Merchandiser to lead product development and manufacturing for our fashion portfolio. The role combines strategic planning, cost management and close collaboration with buyers, designers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality collections.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between buyers/clients and both local and international manufacturers.
• Oversee product and sample development, from concept through production.
• Manage production schedules, import and local manufacturing, and critical‑path timelines across multiple categories.
• Coordinate procurement of fabrics, trims and raw materials.
• Conduct quality‑assurance checks, sampling and supplier communication.
• Negotiate pricing, maintain profitability targets and manage shipping logistics with forwarders.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in ladieswear merchandising or clothing production, including at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
• Fashion‑related degree or diploma.
• Proven experience with both local production and import operations.

Required skills

• Strong planning and costing capabilities.
• Experience in fabric, trim and raw‑material sourcing.
• Ability to manage timelines, quality assurance and shipping coordination.
• Negotiation and profitability management.
