Labour Consultant – Advisory & Client Growth

About the role

The National Labour Company is expanding its advisory team and seeks a Labour Consultant to provide expert guidance on employment matters and drive client acquisition across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on retrenchment, disciplinary, and incapacity procedures.
• Chair disciplinary enquiries and represent members at CCMA or Bargaining Council conciliations and arbitrations.
• Draft and review contracts of employment ensuring compliance with current labour legislation.
• Identify and secure new client relationships while nurturing existing accounts.
• Travel to client sites as required and operate independently.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in labour consulting.
• BCom Law, LLB or a HR‑related tertiary qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Afrikaans spoken is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation.

• Client acquisition and relationship management capabilities.
