Key Account Manager - French Speaking

About the role

This position sits at the heart of international trade, overseeing key French‑speaking customers in the import/export market. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring smooth sales processes, accurate documentation, and timely communication across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with key accounts, handling pricing, documentation and day‑to‑day trading activity.
• Verify all client documentation for accuracy before dispatch, including pricing and stock details.
• Coordinate shipping and clearing paperwork to ensure vessels arrive with correct paperwork.
• Support the Business Development Manager with debtor management and credit‑limit monitoring.
• Work closely with the Team Leader to expedite order processing and resolve any order‑related issues.
• Monitor labelling requirements and special order specifications.
• Escalate complex issues to senior management when necessary.
• Prepare supplier reports, market feedback, and assist with brand activation initiatives.
• Analyse brand performance and suggest adjustments to meet commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on client needs and challenges.
• Excellent administrative ability, high attention to detail and capacity to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a commercial mindset, able to address client concerns promptly.
• Comfortable working across different time zones and coordinating with senior commercial leaders.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
