Key Account Manager – Discounter Channel

About the role

The Key Account Manager – Discounter Channel will manage a portfolio of discount retailers for Red Bull, driving sales, volume and profitability. You will act as an entrepreneurial self‑starter, developing medium‑ to long‑term strategies based on deep customer insight and market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Red Bull’s commercial strategy at key discount customers and develop mid‑ to long‑term customer plans aligned with national sales policy.
• Design and execute price and promotional strategies to grow share, protect profitability and support the national grid.
• Analyse Nielsen, scanner and customer data to identify growth opportunities and forecast sales.
• Prepare trade‑spend budgets, annual business plans and compelling selling decks.
• Lead yearly negotiations, agree on Perfect Store concepts, VIP programs and category solutions.
• Manage in‑trade partners for merchandising and execution, and continuously track volume and profitability targets.
• Present results and insights to customers, demonstrating Red Bull’s contribution to their business.
• Build strong strategic relationships, act as a category captain and collaborate cross‑functionally across the organisation.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience in key account or channel management, preferably in consumer goods.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take calculated risks and drive results.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable travelling and interacting with customers.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate internationally.
