Junior Underwriter – Remote (USA focus)

About the role

High Rise Financial is seeking a Junior Underwriter to work remotely from outside the United States. You will act as an unbiased evaluator of personal‑injury pre‑settlement funding cases, helping the company determine appropriate funding offers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client cases (car accidents, slips and falls, wrongful death, medical malpractice, etc.) to assess likelihood of success and estimate potential settlement amounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Medical teams to approve or deny funding requests.
• Review medical records, police reports, insurance coverage, liability evidence, and existing liens.
• Provide written estimates and recommendations based on a comprehensive review of case details.

Required profile

• At least one of the following: paralegal experience with a medical background, medical coordination experience, or experience evaluating personal‑injury cases.
• Strong analytical mindset capable of processing multiple data points.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
