Junior Underwriter – Remote (US Personal Injury Funding)

About the role

High Rise Financial is seeking a Junior Underwriter to evaluate personal injury pre‑settlement funding cases. Working remotely from your home country, you will act as an unbiased third‑party to assess case strength and advise on funding offers.

Key responsibilities

• Review case files, medical records, police reports, and liability evidence.
• Estimate the projected settlement amount for each case.
• Collaborate with Sales and Medical teams to approve or deny funding requests.
• Provide detailed written assessments of case worth and risk factors.

Required profile

• Paralegal experience with a medical background or medical coordination experience (preferred).
• Experience evaluating personal injury cases, reviewing medical documentation, or negotiating settlements.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
