Junior Storeman – Stores

About the role

Fancourt, South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is seeking a motivated Junior Storeman to join its Stores team in George. This full‑time role offers the chance to learn and develop store operations within a fast‑paced Food & Beverage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Issue stock to all departments based on requisitions and process orders using SAP.
• Maintain strict control of stock issues, ensuring all collections are signed for.
• Receive deliveries, verify invoices, check expiry dates, quality and quantities.
• Keep the store area tidy and compliant with daily housekeeping checklists.
• Assist with periodic stock takes and other inventory‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent) qualification.
• At least one year of experience in a store or Food & Beverage environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own accommodation in George or surrounding areas.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and shift patterns.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
