Driver – Golf Course Maintenance Support

About the role

Fancourt is seeking a reliable Driver to support its Golf Course Maintenance department. The role involves safe and efficient transport of goods, equipment, and documents between the resort and its suppliers, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean, roadworthy and fuelled.
• Transport and deliver materials, equipment, stock and supplies to designated locations.
• Collect urgent orders and meet agreed delivery timeframes.
• Load, unload and secure goods to prevent damage.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders or delivery notes and obtain signatures.
• Assist with receiving, checking and sorting of stock when required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide professional customer service.
• Support the Golf Course Maintenance team with reasonable operational duties when not driving.

Required profile

• Grade 10 or equivalent.
• 3‑4 years of experience as a driver or in a delivery‑related role.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• No criminal record.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Physical fitness to perform the duties of the position.
