Junior Store Manager – Koeberg Road, Cape Town

About the role

We are opening a new Pedros store on Koeberg Road in Cape Town and are looking for a motivated Junior Store Manager to lead the restaurant and take‑away operations. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy delivering excellent customer service and are eager to contribute to the store’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant and take‑away service.
• Maintain food quality and ensure compliance with Pedros Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage stock control, purchasing and order processes.
• Handle customer complaints and uphold high service standards.
• Drive profitability by meeting sales and gross‑profit targets and motivating the team.
• Recruit, schedule, discipline and develop staff members.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve store performance.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant or fast‑food service.
• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP principles.
• Experience with the Micros point‑of‑sale system (advantageous).
