Junior Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Junior Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales at Jabulani Mall. This role offers a fast‑paced environment where leadership and ambition are recognised.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Lead, motivate and develop team members to achieve their best performance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and memorable guest experiences.
• Assist with staff scheduling, stock control and daily administrative tasks.
• Drive sales and help the store meet its targets.
• Maintain brand standards, cleanliness and food safety requirements.
• Monitor operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Take charge of the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or junior management experience (2–3 years) in QSR, fast‑food, restaurant, retail or hospitality.
• Passion for people, service and leadership with a positive, hands‑on attitude.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Grade 12/Matric certificate.
• Reliable transport and a clear criminal record.
• South African citizenship or a valid work permit.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and administrative skills.
• Experience with stock control and cash handling.
