Junior Software Implementation Engineer – Graduate

About the role

Our client is looking for a recent IT or Engineering graduate to join their software implementation team in Cape Town. The Junior Software Implementation Engineer will work through the full lifecycle of custom software projects, from gathering client requirements to configuring, testing, deploying and supporting the solution.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and configure tailored software solutions.
• Participate in unit and end‑to‑end testing, deployment activities and user training sessions.
• Work across development, QA and production environments, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Document technical designs and maintain solution documentation.
• Provide post‑implementation support and implement enhancements as needed.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with good time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive data.
