Junior Revenue Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Revenue Analyst to join the Revenue team of a leading transport company. The role focuses on supporting pricing strategies, revenue optimisation and business performance through data analysis and trend identification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Revenue Manager with pricing administration and revenue optimisation.
• Maintain and update pricing across routes and destinations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
• Analyse ticket sales, travel and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support forecasting and revenue planning activities.
• Maintain route codes, stop information and timetables.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external booking partners.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing and reporting data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, reports and processes.
• Provide general administrative support to the Revenue Department.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Transport & Logistics, Commerce, Data Analytics, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering or a related analytical field (advantageous).
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, pricing, revenue, commercial or logistics environments.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
