Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. You will be responsible for measuring sites, preparing competitive quotes, and supporting multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately measure plans and buildings to develop pricing estimates.
• Prepare and submit quotes/tenders in a timely manner.
• Facilitate and expedite production processes.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and propose cost‑effective solutions.
• Support contract managers with resource planning and organization.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
• Promote company services and assist in project contract management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
• Recent experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Project Manager.
• Ability to measure buildings accurately and promptly.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Fluent in English and able to understand Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
