Junior Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

A well‑established organisation within the built environment sector is seeking to appoint a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support construction project delivery across both site and office operations. You will assist the Site Manager and Project Quantity Surveyor with cost control, valuations, subcontractor assessments, budget monitoring, cash‑flow forecasting and project administration to ensure efficient execution and commercial alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Compile payment certificates and monthly valuations.
• Monitor budgets, cost reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Conduct subcontractor evaluations and cost comparisons.
• Support project cost control, reporting and site administration.
• Ensure QS deliverables and project deadlines are consistently achieved.

Required profile

• QS qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• 2–3 years of quantity surveying experience in the built environment and construction project delivery.
• Exposure to site‑based construction environments.
• Strong numerical, reporting and cost‑analysis capability.
• Deadline‑driven with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
