Junior Quantity Surveyor (Building)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our building construction team. The role will support the cost management of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring accurate measurement and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender documentation for building projects.
• Monitor and update project budgets, track variations and prepare cost reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to verify measurements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the administration of JBCC contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Maintain accurate records in CCS Candy and BuildSmart systems where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• 1–4 years of post‑graduate experience on building construction projects.
• Good understanding of JBCC contracts.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CCS Candy (advantageous).
• Experience with BuildSmart (advantageous).
