Junior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team in Durban. The role involves planning, organising and managing project scopes and phases in line with the project mandate. You will work closely with internal teams, clients and external partners to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, allocate resources and monitor progress.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timelines.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide regular reporting and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Support account management activities and departmental projects.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal teams, clients and external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement through project management best practices.

Required profile

• Project Management certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing the full product lifecycle.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Results‑driven, accountable and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities.
• Professional team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Microsoft Office).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with project management software (advantageous).
