Junior Project Coordinator – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Coordinator to support our software development teams in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with Agile project delivery, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technical project managers and the delivery manager in planning and tracking software projects.
• Learn and apply Scrum/Agile practices, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Maintain project boards in GitHub Projects and update status reports.
• Coordinate with developers to monitor progress, identify blockers, and support hand‑offs from design to development.
• Gather SEO requirements and collaborate with UX/UI teams.
• Support client communications under supervision and help raise risks or issues.
• Maintain project documentation, assist with basic testing activities, and contribute to retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Technology or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organisational abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies through coursework or practical experience.
