Junior Production Supervisor – Meat Processing

About the role

Join a leading FMCG company as a Junior Production Supervisor in a modern meat processing plant. You will oversee the end‑to‑end production flow, ensuring that all products meet strict quality, safety and presentation standards while supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the full production process, including trimming, grinding, mixing, packing, wrapping and labelling.
• Monitor production efficiency, productivity and cost control, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Manage stock rotation and inventory within the production area.
• Implement and maintain procedures that drive operational excellence.
• Identify and resolve quality or maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, SHEQ and OHS standards.
• Oversee attendance, discipline and employee relations.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in an FMCG environment.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in meat processing is advantageous.
