Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to support our mechanical design team in creating high‑quality, cost‑effective components and systems. You will gain hands‑on experience across the full product development cycle while working closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing mechanical components, assemblies, and complete systems.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials using CAD tools.
• Support design reviews, prototype evaluations, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure design practicality and cost efficiency.
• Perform basic simulations and stress analyses under supervision.
• Maintain design documentation, change control records, and project files.

Required profile

• BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering (essential).
• 1‑3 years of experience in a mechanical design role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and eager to learn and grow.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo or similar).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
• Ability to conduct basic simulations and stress analysis.
