Junior IT Repair Technician (Support)

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a Junior IT Repair Technician to join its Support Head Office. You will help keep the technology infrastructure running smoothly, enabling staff to deliver high‑quality education services.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults both remotely and on‑site.
• Monitor and maintain uplink connectivity, wireless access points and end‑user devices.
• Provide first‑line and second‑line technical support to staff via face‑to‑face interaction or telephone.
• Assist in the continuous improvement and expansion of existing IT solutions.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with staff and customers.
• Understanding of personal abilities and limitations to seek appropriate assistance when needed.
