Junior Cost Accountant

About the role

Snatch.Work, a fast‑growing player in South Africa’s wine sector, is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant to join its finance team in Stellenbosch. You will help calculate manufacturing costs, set selling prices, and support margin analysis across the vineyard‑to‑customer value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Review stock counts across production facilities, analyse variances and report discrepancies.
• Update ERP production orders to maintain accurate stock items, costing and quantity records.
• Compile and maintain a Costing Masterfile for supplier price comparison and procurement support.
• Analyse finished‑stock pricing and cost of goods sold to ensure correct price build‑ups and margin calculations.
• Create purchase orders, match invoices for bulk deliveries and process Fairtrade documentation.
• Assist with quarterly reporting data and general accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
• Cost accounting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Xero or other cloud‑based accounting systems.

Required skills

• Xero (cloud accounting software).

What we offer

• Salary range R30,000 – R40,000 CTC per month.
• 18 days of annual leave plus a December/January shutdown period.
