Junior Corporate Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Corporate Finance Analyst to join a high‑performance finance team in Cape Town. This entry‑level position offers exposure to mergers & acquisitions, valuations, and strategic advisory work within a dynamic corporate finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with M&A and transaction advisory projects.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models.
• Conduct company valuations and financial analysis.
• Prepare pitch decks, presentations, and investment memorandums.
• Perform market and industry research.
• Support due‑diligence processes.
• Analyse financial statements and business performance.
• Support senior team members on live transactions and client engagements.

Required profile

• BCom in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment Management or related field.
• Honours degree, CFA progress or FMVA advantageous.
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, audit, valuations or investment banking.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
