IT Technician – 12‑Month Contract (Johannesburg)

About the role

The ATS division within Deloitte is hiring an IT Technician on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to provide onsite hardware and software support, troubleshooting, and ad‑hoc user training under direct supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simple onsite hardware, software and peripheral updates and repairs within a predefined SLA.
• Troubleshoot and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment across the organisation.
• Provide ad‑hoc end‑user training on system use.
• Install and configure standard hardware and software.
• Maintain a tidy work environment and handle IT service‑desk administration and filing.
• Manage third‑party calls, fill in for absent colleagues, and assist with AV setups for events.
• Monitor SLA performance (target 98%) using ServiceNow and log system details accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of IT support experience, preferably in a large corporate environment.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and follow defined processes.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to collaborate with the ATS team and adhere to Deloitte policies.
