About the role
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. You will provide first‑line technical assistance to end users and ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to basic end‑user enquiries such as keyboard, printer, internet, and Outlook issues.
- Set up and maintain camera, LAN, and Wi‑Fi networks.
- Manage Microsoft licenses, accounts, and domain email configurations.
- Configure and support laptops, desktops, phones, and printers, including static IP assignment, VPN, and Remote Desktop access.
- Install and update software tools (e.g., FTP utilities, PDF viewers).
- Process approval requests and order hardware or software parts when authorized.
- Maintain IT stock and oversee its distribution.
Required profile
- Matriculation certificate.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Required skills
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- CompTIA Network+ certification.
- LAN and Wi‑Fi network configuration.
- Camera network setup.
- Microsoft account and license management.
- Domain email and Outlook configuration.
- Static IP assignment, VPN, and Remote Desktop access.
