IT Support & Systems Engineer

About the role

As an IT Support and Systems Engineer at bolttech, you will be the first point of contact for internal users, delivering first‑ and second‑line technical assistance while ensuring smooth operation of our network and systems. You will work closely with global teams and external vendors to keep the technology environment reliable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support by diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Maintain professional communication with users, give timely updates, manage expectations and escalate when needed.
• Administer, monitor and maintain network infrastructure devices such as switches, routers and wireless access points.
• Install, configure, update and support software applications on user devices, adhering to security and licensing policies.
• Create and keep technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures and network diagrams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve incidents, implement improvements and support IT initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, service optimisation and continuous improvement.

• Experience with IT service request handling and ticketing systems.
