IT Support Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Administrator to ensure the availability, security and stability of Ctrack’s IT environment. The role combines day‑to‑day user support with the management of servers, networks, cloud services and identity platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor server performance (CPU, memory, disk) and network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, bandwidth) to prevent incidents.
• Review system logs, troubleshoot errors and verify backup and recovery processes.
• Manage user lifecycle – onboarding, off‑boarding, account provisioning, email setup and access rights following least‑privilege principles.
• Handle password resets, MFA configuration and remediation of compromised accounts.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical helpdesk support for hardware and software issues, logging and prioritising tickets.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with laptops, desktops, printers and network devices, coordinating vendor repairs when needed.
• Apply operating‑system patches, security updates and ensure business applications are up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent diploma, or relevant industry certifications.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in systems administration, IT support or infrastructure roles.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to balance user support with system stability.
