IT Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a security‑focused professional to join a fast‑paced, multi‑client environment. You will work with cutting‑edge security technologies, investigate threats, respond to incidents and help strengthen the cyber resilience of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, endpoint activity, logs and security alerts for suspicious behaviour.
• Investigate, contain and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Perform threat analysis, vulnerability assessments and track remediation.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify security gaps across environments.
• Support and optimise security tooling and security‑operations processes.
• Produce clear incident reports, root‑cause analyses and remediation documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security controls, procedures and playbooks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective security outcomes.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in Security Operations, SOC or Incident Response.
• 3‑5 years experience in Vulnerability Management or Threat Analysis.
• Experience with multi‑client (MSP/MSSP) environments is advantageous.
• Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Purview.
• Security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Blumira, Petra (or similar).
• SIEM and endpoint security solutions.
• Network security fundamentals and threat investigation processes.
• Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust principles, Conditional Access.
• Security monitoring, threat detection and incident response methodologies.
