IT Asset Management Coordinator – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for an IT Asset Management Coordinator to join our Johannesburg office. The role ensures that all hardware assets are accurately tracked, warranties are managed, and the asset database remains reliable in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the IT asset register using dedicated tracking tools.
• Monitor warranty expirations, device allocations, and recover lost or misplaced equipment.
• Generate regular reports on asset status, discrepancies and trends.
• Coordinate with procurement and support teams to ensure timely acquisition and disposal of assets.
• Provide on‑site support for asset‑related queries and investigations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on IT asset management experience.
• Experience with asset tracking systems and tools.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for on‑site duties.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to maintain order under pressure.

• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft SCCM
• Microsoft Excel
• Power BI
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (preferred)
