iOS Engineer

About the role

Kuda is seeking a results‑driven iOS Engineer to join its fintech team building a smarter alternative to traditional banking across Africa. You will work on the native iOS app, improving performance, quality and user experience while collaborating with cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native iOS applications.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs and optimise memory usage.
• Maintain code quality, organization and automation, including CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a startup or scale‑up environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality mobile experiences.
