Investment Director

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead deal execution and diligence for Minds Capital, a fast‑scaling entrepreneurial private‑equity platform. The role offers immediate responsibility for managing the pipeline, engaging with independent sponsors, and shaping investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due diligence on active transactions, covering financial, commercial and operational aspects.
• Run weekly pipeline meetings with senior partners and guide junior deal team members.
• Present investment opportunities to the investment committee and prepare financial models, market analyses and investment memos.
• Build relationships with independent sponsors, screen new deals and vet sponsors.
• Monitor portfolio performance, draft quarterly updates for limited partners and detailed briefings for each committed deal.
• Analyze CRM and pipeline data, improve sourcing and decision‑making processes, and implement AI‑driven workflow enhancements.
• Manage cross‑functional projects, identify operational gaps and propose solutions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in US private equity at a senior level.
• Proven ability to engage with senior executives, investors and sponsors.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication.
• High initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in lean environments.
