International SEO, GEO and Content Manager

About the role

Visas.pt is expanding its immigration information platform to multiple countries and needs an International SEO, GEO and Content Manager to lead the organic growth strategy across traditional search engines and AI‑powered answer platforms. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on SEO implementation, and content creation to make complex visa and relocation information easy to discover and understand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an international SEO and GEO strategy for multiple country domains.
• Improve visibility on traditional search engines and AI‑driven platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot.
• Conduct keyword, competitor, search‑intent and audience‑question research to identify content gaps.
• Create and manage country‑specific content plans, author authoritative guides, comparison pages and Q&A resources.
• Structure and optimise content so that complex immigration, taxation and relocation information is accurately interpreted by search engines and generative AI.
• Collaborate with immigration lawyers and specialists to review regulated content before publication.
• Optimise existing pages for relevance, internal linking, conversions and AI discoverability.
• Support the development of interactive tools such as “Find Your Country” and “Compare Countries”.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international SEO, GEO targeting and multilingual content management.
• Ability to move between strategic planning and practical implementation.
• Strong attention to accuracy and trustworthiness of immigration‑related information.
• Experience working with legal or immigration professionals to validate content.
