International Quality Control Officer

About the role

The International Quality Control Officer will support the QHSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) across international facilities. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001 and API Specification Q1, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement in quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and upkeep of the IMS according to ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards.
• Verify and audit operational tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in audit teams for site‑specific IMS elements not covered by head office.
• Evaluate and re‑evaluate critical suppliers for international facilities.
• Maintain IMS logs, documentation, and prepare quality reports.
• Support the creation of internal training material and conduct regular production area surveys.
• Perform final inspections of manufactured products before release.
• Compile monthly quality reports and undertake other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• High school certificate with NDE qualifications (MT, PT) and Welding Inspector – Level 2.
• Fundamentals of API Specification Q1 (preferred) and internal auditing experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in quality assurance, quality control management, or auditing of quality management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure, strong communication, and problem‑solving orientation.
