International Quality Control Officer

About the role

The International Quality Control Officer will support the QHSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) across international facilities. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001, API Specification Q1 and internal procedures while conducting audits, inspections and supplier evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the QHSE Manager with IMS implementation and maintenance according to the latest ISO 9001 and API Specification Q1 editions.
• Verify and audit operational tasks against established procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in audit teams to review site‑specific IMS elements such as asset management, risk assessment, warehouse control, welding and paint shop processes, and non‑conforming product handling.
• Evaluate and re‑evaluate critical suppliers used by international facilities.
• Support the company in obtaining and maintaining Quality Management System accreditations.
• Maintain IMS logs, documentation and prepare required quality reports.
• Create internal training material and conduct regular surveys of production areas for IMS compliance.
• Perform final inspections of manufactured products prior to release and compile monthly quality reports.

Required profile

• High school certificate.
• NDE qualifications (MT, PT) and Welding Inspector – Level 2.
• Fundamentals of API Specification Q1 (preferred).
• Proven 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control and auditing of quality management systems.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Internal auditing of quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and API Specification Q1 standards.
