Internal Sales Representative

About the role

Bonpak is looking for a dynamic, customer‑focused Internal Sales Representative to join its Modderfontein branch in Gauteng. You will drive sales growth, manage orders, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction within the packaging industry.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact existing customers to generate sales, identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, and follow up on leads.
• Process orders accurately, monitor status, coordinate with warehouse, procurement and finance, and communicate any delivery delays.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records, handle enquiries, resolve complaints, and support debtor management.
• Prepare quotations, pro‑forma invoices, and ensure customers receive invoices promptly.
• Assist with account reconciliations and payment follow‑ups as required.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) essential; diploma or certificate in Sales, Business Administration or related field advantageous.
• 3–5 years experience in internal sales, telesales or customer service within FMCG, preferably with resellers, wholesalers or key accounts.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and strong negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, well‑presented, team‑player, able to work under pressure and goal‑driven.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with K8 system (advantageous)
