Internal Sales Consultant / Business Development - B2B Corporate Training

About the role

Join a SETA‑accredited corporate training provider as an Internal Sales Consultant focused on B2B sales. Based in the Lyndhurst office, you will handle inbound enquiries and generate new business through outbound calls to HR, L&D and procurement decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and convert inbound training enquiries with needs‑based conversations.
• Make approximately 50 outbound calls per day to prospective corporate clients.
• Sell accredited and non‑accredited training programmes across a broad catalogue.
• Prepare accurate quotations and written proposals and follow them through to close.
• Grow existing accounts through repeat business, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts and daily activity reporting.
• Liaise with delivery and scheduling teams to ensure client expectations are met.
• Resolve client queries and account issues proactively.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telephone‑based sales, preferably in corporate training or B2B environments.
• Strong ability to conduct needs‑based conversations and close deals.
• Comfortable making high‑volume outbound calls and meeting activity targets.
• Detail‑oriented with good organisational and follow‑up skills.

• Basic salary R15‑20k per month plus uncapped commission.
