Internal Manager Home Services

About the role

A prominent financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Internal Manager to drive the growth and performance of its Home Services division in the Western Cape. The role turns the company's strategy for home loans into concrete sales and acquisition plans, growing market share, improving client conversion and raising the client experience across internal distribution channels. It manages the end-to-end home loans value chain within internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales and acquisition plans for internal channels to grow the home loans portfolio, increase market share and conversion rates.
• Monitor sales performance across all internal distribution channels and take corrective action where needed.
• Work with regional and branch leadership and segment specialists to find acquisition and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and develop the internal Home Loans acquisition team, focusing on performance, capability and client outcomes.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders in Credit, Product, Pricing, Operations, Processing, Risk and Compliance to streamline sales and service delivery.
• Manage the quality of the sales pipeline, track conversion rates, analyse market insights and follow risk and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7 or higher) in Business, Commerce, Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing or a related commercial discipline.
• Recognised FAIS qualification where applicable, meeting FAIS Fit and Proper requirements; RE1 accreditation if the role involves Key Individual responsibilities.
• Five to seven years of experience in home loans, mortgage lending, banking sales, distribution or client acquisition.
• Proven experience leading and developing sales teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of home loan products, credit processes and the mortgage lending lifecycle.
