Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join a fast‑paced technology and services organisation operating across South Africa. The role will involve executing audits of process controls, practices and procedures in line with the annual audit plan, working closely with senior leadership and audit committees.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audits according to the approved audit plan.
• Perform financial, operational, compliance and IT audit engagements.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
• Document audit procedures, findings and recommendations accurately.
• Communicate audit results to stakeholders and process owners.
• Support follow‑up on audit findings and corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and methodology.

Required profile

• Completed BCom degree in Accounting Sciences or Internal Audit.
• CIA membership and IIA (SA) membership.
• 5–8 years of experience, preferably in the technology or financial services industry.
