About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking enthusiastic Intern Teachers to join the Midrand High School team. Working under a mentor teacher, you will co‑plan and co‑teach both in‑person and blended lessons, gaining hands‑on experience in a high‑impact educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑plan and deliver classroom and distance‑learning lessons alongside a mentor.
• Teach selected lessons, receive feedback, and refine instructional techniques.
• Support assessments, grade homework, and assist with data tracking.
• Facilitate academic clubs, enrichment activities, and project‑based learning.
• Deliver coding and robotics sessions, integrating technology into the curriculum.
• Monitor scholar progress, update personalised learning plans, and analyse data for interventions.
• Assist with classroom technology, report hardware issues, and ensure effective use of educational software.
