Intermediate Software Engineer, Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Full-Stack Software Engineer to join G Adventures’ technology team. You will help design, build and maintain scalable web applications that support our travel platform, working closely with product, design and testing colleagues. You will be part of a passionate team that delivers high-quality digital experiences for travelers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain reliable, scalable software applications based on business and user requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following established coding standards.
• Analyse and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues, delivering timely fixes.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit, integration and system testing.
• Maintain technical documentation for codebases, system architecture and processes.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions, offering input on system structure and scalability.
• Estimate development timelines and manage tasks to meet deadlines, communicating blockers proactively.

Required profile

• At least 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with full-stack development (frontend and backend).
• Proficiency in writing unit, integration and system tests.
• Familiarity with version control and code review processes.
