About the role
Electrum is a payment software technology company that delivers enterprise-grade, cloud-native software for high-volume, low-value payment schemes. It is looking for an intermediate Java Software Developer to join its engineering team in Cape Town, working on-site. The role involves writing elegant, efficient and high-quality Java code for high-performance backend systems.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
- A university degree, or at least 3 additional years of relevant experience in Java if no degree is held.
- Ability to work in high-stakes, complex environments.
Required skills
- Strong Java programming skills.
- Advantageous: full-stack experience, SaaS development experience and payments experience.
