Intermediate Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Backend Developer to join our iGaming SaaS team. You will design, build and maintain high‑performance backend services that power our Remote Gaming Server and partner integrations. This role offers the chance to work with modern micro‑service architectures and a fast‑growing product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend APIs and services for our iGaming platform.
• Enhance platform functionality and scalability to meet growing user demand.
• Build and maintain integrations with external partner APIs, ensuring reliable data exchange.
• Implement new features for the Remote Gaming Server with focus on performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews and promote best practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and apply optimisations.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code with thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years developing applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or other SQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ and AMQP messaging.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerised application development.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
