Integration Architect

About the role

Our client, a global investment advisory firm, is looking for an Integration Architect to shape and deliver resilient integration solutions across its finance, technology, security and data domains. You will act as the architectural SME for an embedded business domain, translating strategic objectives into practical, future‑proof designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and champion enterprise integration patterns, focusing on APIs, event‑driven architectures and cloud middleware.
• Convert functional requirements from Finance, Technology, Security and Data teams into clear technical designs.
• Define data migration, security and governance approaches to ensure auditability, data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support delivery teams through design, build, test and deployment phases, mitigating architectural risks.
• Balance rapid execution with long‑term architectural health while adhering to enterprise guardrails.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience designing enterprise‑scale solutions in complex IT environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern integration patterns, REST APIs, event‑driven architecture and middleware.
• Experience with cloud architectures, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
• Understanding of security, risk and compliance requirements in highly regulated financial sectors.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and coach delivery teams.
