Instructional Designer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging digital learning experiences that drive performance and knowledge transfer. You will join a dynamic Learning & Development team in Sandton, collaborating with subject matter experts to deliver innovative learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop digital learning content and instructional materials.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Develop e‑learning solutions using authoring tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to identify learning needs.
• Manage and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews of learning materials.
• Improve content using learner feedback, analytics, and best practices.
• Support emerging digital learning initiatives and technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in instructional design, digital learning, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and digital learning practices.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
• Proven ability to use e‑learning authoring and content development tools.
• Solid understanding of the ADDIE framework and other design models.
• Experience conducting quality‑assurance reviews of learning content.
